Frederick Cecil McLean was on the run for years. Have you fallen victim to him in South Carolina?
Frederick McLean, born February 15th 1951, went on the run in 2005, fleeing California with $100,000 in cash after allegations of 25 years of sexual abuse against at least 8 young women came to light.
During his offending, he used his links to the church as a Jehovah’s Witness to facilitate his crimes.
He was recently found dead of natural causes in South Carolina, having evaded capture.
There is a high probability that McLean was offending during his time in South Carolina and we have reason to believe he resided in the Anderson, Seneca, and Greenville areas between 2006 and his death this year.
We are aware that he had expressed interest in local children attending his home to help him with tasks prior to his death.
